Inca's Food Aji Amarillo (Yellow Hot Pepper Paste) 10.5 oz

This hot sauce seems a bit too salty for my taste, although I have noticed this with other brands also, and I eventually got a taste for it in time...so I will see how it works out with time.

Excelente Aji Amrillo. This is pretty much a unique-to-Peru ingredient, the secret ingredient for many dishes.

I’ve had this brand of Aji paste before and love it. Perfect heat level and unique flavor of Peru. Like other reviewer said it’s like a condiment for me, it goes on everything. More importantly this review is for my experience with Zocalo Foods. I am glad I found this company and will continue to order from them. Product price was at or below “other” mega online retailer even with cost of shipping. Plus their return/replacement policy set my mind at ease if something went wrong in shipping. The three jars I purchased were individually bubble wrapped and extra material was packaged around which ensured they arrived intact. Finally, I was kept up-to-date from placing order through entire process until package arrived.

Product is excellent. Only problem is that one of the three jars we ordered had leaked. Glass is not broken, just leaked a little from under the lid. Product seems okay to use, though.

This is the best aji past I have found. We like it so much it has turned into a condiment in my house for everything from eggs to fries. The spice level is perfect!
